Happy 2025, Psychonomes!

The Psychonomic Society Digital Content Team wishes everyone a wonderful start to the new year! As we enter 2025, we’re excited to continue sharing insights and amplifying the excellent research conducted in the field of cognitive psychology.

Our team currently has seven members, including me as the Digital Content Editor. The talented Digital Associate Editors are:

We are also thrilled to welcome two Science Communication interns, who will join us soon to enhance our digital content efforts.

Blog posts showcasing your research

Much of the content we create is distributed as blog posts written about recent articles published in one of the Psychonomic Society journals:

  • Psychonomic Bulletin & Review
  • Memory & Cognition (M&C)
  • Learning & Behavior
  • Attention, Perception, and Psychophysics
  • Behavior Research Methods
  • Cognitive Research: Principles & Implications (CR:PI)
  • Cognitive Affective & Behavior Neuroscience

If you’ve recently had an article accepted for publication in one of these journals, keep an eye out for the acceptance emails that include our contact information. We’d love to work with you to spotlight your research in a blog post.

Digital events

We’re also gearing up for our digital events. These are posts written by guest contributors and focus on topics that interest the Psychonomic Society community.

Watch out for our first digital event in 2025, co-organized by Roy Hessels, on the fundamentals of eye tracking. The papers will appear in Behavior Research Methods, and we’ll cover them at our digital event in March 2025.

Welcome new leadership

This month, we’re delighted to welcome Eva Van den Bussche as the new Chair of the Governing Board. A huge thank you to Stephan Lewandowsky for his stellar leadership last year.
